Cultivating Land, Sustaining Life-Environmental Regeneration in Shakahola

The Cultivating Land, Sustaining Life project is an integrated environmental regeneration and sustainable agriculture initiative based in Shakahola, Kenya. The project aims to restore degraded land, promote food security, and empower the local community through sustainable farming and ecological restoration. 

Vision
  • To transform the arid and degraded lands of Shakahola into a thriving, self-sustaining ecosystem where nature and humanity coexist in balance, creating a model of regeneration, productivity, and resilience for future generations.
Mission
  • To cultivate cleaner land, regenerate natural habitats, and establish sustainable livelihoods for the people of Shakahola through climate smart agriculture, reforestation, and biodiversity restoration.
